    Boa Breeders

I have been looking all over the internet and all over forums but i cant find a breeder that sells normal boas, its all different morphs that are pretty costly so i was wondering if anyone on here knew a breeder either in canada or can ship to canada that sells normal boas.

You can probably email the breeders you've been looking at and ask to see if they've got normals available. I suspect it's a lot like ball python breeders where there are normals aplenty, but they're not worth listing

There's also kingsnake.com and look in the classified's. Just watch out for scammers.

    Re: Boa Breeders

Most breeders advertise their morphs moreso than their normal Colombian boas, but the truth is all breeders have loads of normal babies, you've usually just got to send them an email.

If I may make a recommendation, the #1 boa breeder in my mind is Dave Colling. He's a great guy with some gorgeous snakes.

I purchased my boa from him at an expo a year and a half ago.

Here she is now, with all her adult colors in... I know everyone says this, but pictures really don't show her pinks.

Without a doubt one of my favorite snakes. A great feeder, docile, and has been the healthiest out of all of my snakes.

    Re: Boa Breeders

My first question is where do you live in Canada?

To me buying a "normal" boa online is not very logical from my stand point. $50 for a boa on top of $50 shipping...

No one there at the sells boas?

That would be my first place to look.

You are right. Many people do not like to buy normal boas via the net because of the high shipping prices. Most of my normals or normal looking hets are shipped with morphs. People decide to add a cheap normal or het since they are already paying for shipping. I sell most of my normals and normal looking hets locally.

Sorry, I do not ship to Canada, and do not know the Canadian snake market. I suggest finding a reptile show close to you, and checking there.

    Good luck.
