Congrats to you for snaggin' it and to Tim for producing it.

Is there a story behind the odd appearance or is it just one of those things that pops up/out once in a while?
Were there others in the clutch with similar markings?
This same breeding last year produced 2 Pastel Ivorys. I was trying to make more. Nothing last year came out that was insane looking. However, this year, the 3 eggs in the clutch went bad, and the three remaining hatchlings were this YB male and a pair of Pastel YBs. The Pastel YBs are the 2 nicest ones I have ever seen. The female went to a friend, and the male was sold out of the country. I can say that this little YB had his umbilicus tied around his body in front of the opening, and therefore could not be untied. I had to tie it off and clip it. I then had to assist feed the first meal, but he ate ravenously after that first assist feeding. I don't think there is anything else going on with him, but he is definitely amazing looking, and I worked extra hard to keep him alive.

Great post SansCera. I can't wait to see updated shots of him as he grows.
