Personally not a fan of the show at all. Yes it may show that the owner made mistakes but it mostly glorifies the "bad" pet stigma. For the average person watching the show...they walk away with ...Oh its crazy to own snakes/lizards. Then all of a sudden anyone who owns snakes is crazy and we are all going to get eaten and then it will come after me. Seriously!! Everytime the average joe hears I have pythons....we go through the whole FL story with the 2 year old. They don't remember anything except wild python kills and eats girl. UGH!!
I was recently bitten on the lip by my iguanna. Did some damage probably should of had a couple of stitches. My stupid fault....totally! But there was no way I was going to the hospital. I could see the newspapers and hear the phone call from the show. Why did it bite me....my dumb butt was kissing it....So instead I did my own fix it job.
All in all we have enough bad publicity and ppl glorifying accidents...we don't need a show on tv doing more.
