Real life critiques of Online Herp retailers?

Anyone know any tried and true websites where they bought a ball python from that came healthy, on time, and is still alive after a month? Websites? Price ranges? Customer Service ratings?

Re: Real life critiques of Online Herp retailers?

Well, we have our own Inquiries/Feedback Forum that you can look through. And there is Fauna's Board of Inquiry (BOI).

The BOI in particular is a very valuable resource for researching potential sources to buy from.

But a source that has some sort of chart that lists breeders and answers all those questions about each one? (I think that's what you're looking for?) Has never been done that I'm aware of. Different people have different criteria that they look for in a good retailer...and prices fluctuate a lot from year to year. If you want the most confidence in buying online...stick with the big-name breeders. We're careful about who we allow to advertise here, so if you click on any of the banner ads here, you can be as sure as anyone that you'll get good service and a healthy animal.

    I personally have dealt with:

    Charlie @ www.RoyalQPythons.com
    Raphael @ www.MAballs.net
    Jason @ www.MightyMorphs.com

Let me start off by saying, i didn't know anything about these 3 breeders and stumbled upon their websites on the forums and by word of mouth. I have communicated with each one of them via e-mail, text, or phone numerous times before making my purchases and they all have been more than willing to answer any questions i had. Til this day, even months after my purchase, i still keep in contact with all 3 of them. They are always available to answer any questions i have and that's what i like about them. Great quality snakes and Great customer service all around!

Thumbs up to Charlie, Ralphie, and Jason!

OP I would be more concerned of the bad ones to watch out for. There are lots of great ppl in this industry from very small breeders all the the way up to larger ones
