Old navy...no lines...Wally World no lines... Was a bit of a line at Game Stop but not more than 4 ppl. So all in all a pretty easy black friday.

I have to say for me this years sales were disappointing, I will have to do a lot of shopping online as most everything my son wanted is either not in stores or not on sale.

Wally World has Halo Reach on sale for $35 which is pretty good.

Not sure about your area but I can say our Walmart had a BOAT LOAD of stuff left. Tons of TVs, and computer storage devices that did not sell in the am hours. If your on the hunt for a TV....you might find some good deals there. Just make sure to do your research on the TVs before hand. My hubby loves to use Crutchfield.com to research his electronics.
Maybe the economy is really worse there than in other parts of the country. We had mobs everywhere my wife went. I had to head to the mall around 5pm yesterday to get a few things for my son's wrestling team. It was still crazy. Had to park 1000 yards from the mall entrance. Had to wait in the check out line longer thna the time I actually spent shopping. I hate Black Friday.

I'm glad you got almost everything you were looking for. My kids are are 24, 20, 18 and 15 and I'm not getting any ideas what they want for Christmas this year. AND I AM NOT GIVING THEM MONEY. They will have gifts to open Christmas morning. Even if I have to buy what I want for Christmas and put their names on it.

I know the older they get the harder it is to buy for them. Tristen is pretty standard for a 10 year old. Video games and Legos!! Though he is getting pretty hard core on the legos and wants the big sets which are quite expensive. Last year I was sooooo lucky he asked "Santa" for the Lego Death Star, $500-. He said ...."Mom...Im going to ask Santa for this so you don't have to spend all your money".......... "gee sweetie thanks....

    Kids say the darnest things!

Wait until they start asking for 32 inch LCD/LED TVs, or a car, or an AR15 rifle. I can remember when I would spend $300-$350 on each kid and they were happy. Now, I'm luck to get away with $500 and they look at me and ask "Is this all?"

But I guess money doesn't go as far as it once did either.

My wife and my sister went to Wal-Mart at 9:30pm Thanksgiving night for the sale that started 5am Friday morning. They had 32 inch Tv's for $198. I got 2 of them for my brothers. She loved it .. she was awake for a total of 27 hours. NUTS I told her think again if she thinks Im going. I wear the Pants in this household (she doesnt see this website so I can say that )
