Your sister doesn't know he's your boyfriend?!?! And he's her husband's roomate?? Sorry, maybe I'm "behind the times" but does anyone else find this a bit odd??

First of all, you'd better tell her you're together. If he's living with her, she has the right to know. Plus, it's her house. Period. I don't care if she has 100 of her own snakes. If your snake is living there, it's under her rules. She is ultimately responsible since it's under her roof. She has the right to say no one but her and you can touch it. That may be just my opinion, but there it is. She might feel differently if she knows you two are together....

Secondly, I certainly would not allow someone to breed your snake. There are LOTS of threads here describing co-breeding and all the caveats - take a look. But all that aside, questions to ask yourself are - what would YOU get out of the deal? Are these other snakes healthy? Mite-free? WHY do these people want Ivy so badly to breed to and why didn't THEY buy her when they had the chance? AND HOW THE HECK DID THEY GET YOUR PHONE NUMBER????? A pet shop that just randomly gave out your personal information to someone just cause they said they were a breeder interested in Ivy is so wrong I have no words. I would be in that manager's office so fast it'd make their heads spin. Unbelievably unprofessional. Again, these are just my .02....

You have some serious thinking to do BEFORE your bring Ivy or any other snake home.....

these's breeder's are a few friends of mine i got started and they excelled. i help them care for the snakes and they are really healthy altho they have additude issues.they didnt want her or know of her till after i put her on hold. and on the boyfriend thing, id perfer them not know in with him because i dont want them to try and tear us apart. it is a very complecated situatiion me and my bf r in. there is a age difference between us and my sister is totaly against us till after im 18. as soon as im 18 i am telling her that i love him and wanna be with him, the ring on my finger proves it.
