Does this sound like an RI?
I got my first BP a few days ago, and just yesterday I noticed that he will occasionally make a weird sound. It sounds kind of like breaking a toothpick, but quieter. You have to get kind of close to hear it.
His humidity is around the low 50's. I don't have an accurate temp for you right now (Both of my thermometers decided to stop working. Hoping to get some new ones tomorrow.)
He doesn't blow bubbles from his nose or mouth. He doesn't constantly yawn. His breathing isn't always steady, however. Occasionally, he'll bounce a little while making this sound almost like it's a hiccup.
Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks

Re: Does this sound like an RI?
I think sometimes we can get ourselves in a position where we watch our snakes TOO closely. Every little twitch, every faint sound, anything that we don't 100% understand...becomes a symptom of some illness. They're not utterly silent creatures....sometimes their breath will make small hissing or whistling sounds, scales will rasp, gas will pass.... And they don't always breathe with a steady rhythmic pattern either...especially if you've just disturbed them, their breathing will increase dramatically and maybe even hitch a little.
No one here can make a reliable diagnosis based on what you've described. (really, no one should ever count on an internet forum to diagnose an illness, but sometimes its more obvious than others that a trip to the vet is warranted) If you're seriously concerned, you can see if a reliable herp vet diagnoses anything wrong. But if I were in your shoes...I'd just make sure the temps were spot on and leaning toward the warmer side of the scale....keep the humidity steady....and just enjoy my snake.

I see what you mean, haha. I guess I probably have been a bit paranoid seeing as this is my first snake.
