Do tubs need additonal heating from lamps?

After my second python cleared quarantine I put both of my snakes into tubs and shelved them. I am using two thermostats to control the UTH's on both the cool and warm sides. What I'm looking for are other people's opinions on whether I should add a lamp in somehow for ambient temps. or if the UTH's will warm them enough. The room is typically around 72 degrees, but I live in a northern climate. Thanks.

An UTH is just fine, i use back heat and i don't even keep my snakes very close to the heat tape, and i can take my snakes out at any given time depending on the side of the tub there on they are definitely warm to the touch.

works out very well. I use the same method with a fan or two to circulate the air and have had zero problems.

Same here, I use an industrial type heater with built in fan and I set the thermostat on it to keep the room at 75.

Works great.

Thanks for the peace of mind. I am really happy with the tub set up I have. @Ausin236: I really recommend UTH/thermostat/tub set ups. One of my snakes moved to a tub from a 55 gallon aquarium and seems much happier in the tub.

I got a ceiling fan. I run it on low. Got my heater on the most back corner so it blows air forward and the fan circulates it. Works great =)
