I was going to type out everything I remembered how to do at my mom's house (15 years ago lol), but here's a link to all of those tips and more.
One thing that isn't in that link. If you have large anthills outside in your yard, take a can of gasoline and saturate the hell out of it. You don't even need to light it.

While you are figuring out what to do about the ants, you can put a barrier between the cages and the ants.
You can just put some duct tape sticky side up all around the rack on the floor. The ants can't cross it. Or if they try, well...
That is just a temporary fix, though, and make sure your snakes can't escape and get stuck on the tape themselves !!!

I sometime have ants as well the article linked eariler is great I also use ant powder which is just diatomaceous earth. It is not toxic to people and is unlikely to bother snakes (I still would never allow them direct contact!!) I use it around the bottom of the rack and shelving I house snakes in and in the corners of the room it kills the ants that try to cross it.

Do you know what kind of ants they are? If you can identify them it will be easier to get rid of them.

just find where they come in, and give the crack a liberal dose of cinnamon (the spice, not the bp lol ). they wont be back, ever.
