Black Friday Ads......list the top sales...

Well the time has come and we are quickly approaching Turkey Day...

To the dismay of my husband we always do Black Friday. (he tries so hard to get out of it each year) but I think it is so much fun and really seems to kick off the holidays for us. I am not sure what I like the most....watching ppl freak out or getting a great deal.

Anyways....I thought it might be fun to list some of the specials that you know of, along with the price and the store (and open time) so that everyone may be able to take advantage of a good deal if they want to.

    You're nuts!

I loathe crowds and there's nothing fun for me about trying to find parking and being elbow to elbow with other shoppers.

I avoid Black Friday at all costs.

However, to contribute to this - I did see that Kohl's will be open at 3:00 a.m. on Black Friday so you can get started REALLY early if you want! Won't your hubby be so excited??!!!!!

You and my wife must be sisters. She goes out every year. Most of the time she's out the door by 2 or 3 in the morning. I've gotten calls in the past, to bring her a coffee or hot chocolate at 4 in the morning.

I've gone out a few times in the past when the kids were younger and we needed to be in more than one spot in the store to get that SPECIAL deal. But for the most part, I think you're crazy. Unless someone is selling a Bugatti Veyron for $9.99, I don't want any part of it.

Slickdeals.net has a Black Friday webpage that lists many of the more popular stores (brick and mortar as well as on-line). It's a really good page to visit any time of the year. I've gotten many great deals on things I really didn't need but wanted.

    Good Luck!

I think Walmart is open on Thanksgiving Day with many specials. They will then close, and reopen with the Black Friday specials. So, if you want to go out after that turkey day meal, head out to Walmart.

I will not be going anywhere on Friday. I live near a Wal-Mart and a shopping mall and I do not want to deal with the people that will be on the streets acting crazy to get that perfect deal. I will be having left overs from the dinner that I am going to make tomorrow.

We did it a couple years ago, and we're going to do it this year. We're mainly shopping for a laptop, I think we're going to hit Best Buy. I'm not a huge fan of it, but it does kick off the holiday season!

You've gotta watch the quantity for the Black Friday Specials. If you look at the Best Buy circular, the quantity on many of their items is less than 10 and you must get a coupon while in line or you won't get the special price.

    Got to:
    http://www.slickdeals.net

There will be a banner on top of the page about black friday, click that and there are about a dozen stores listing their Black Friday ad.

    Good Luck!

You guys are too funny. Big ole scaredy cats. Well I have looked at some adds and really am not seeing too too much that I am interested in this year.

Target has some legos for 64.99 but haven't looked at which ones they are.
I am however looking for a 250 gb xbox ....the cheapest I have found so far is $250- w a $50 gift card included. That is at Target and Toys R us....but to me that is not really a sale as that is pretty much what they are everywhere.

So if you guys see any better X box sales please let me know.

Sears has a great stand up tool box for $99 I think there was 3 compartments.

If I don't see better ads I may just do online .... crazy.

Jim - I think it would be a blast to shop with your wife!!! Though I do make it a point on black friday to only take helpers...not shoppers....lol

I'm not afraid, as long as I have my wife with me. She won't let anything happen to me.

It would seem like MS hasn't dropped their pricing for the Christmas season. Maybe, if you were to wait a few weeks, they will drop their prices if their sales are flat (which I would presume they will be). Only problem with that, is you don't know what their production numbers were, nor their forecasted sales numbers.

Come on down! Take a trip to Maryland and we'll all go shopping. That is as long as whatever you buy, is for ME.

I hope you have a great Thanksgiving and good luck wherever your travels take you on Friday!
