Question setting up new snake room...can i get it right this time?

Hello to all you awesome people at bps.net. I need your help again if y'all don't mind.

Alright so I've been saving up forever and I finally got the money to get the professional racks I've always wanted.

So here it goes. My current snake room is just a complete mess. I'm always needing to adjust temps on something. Wheather it be the oil radiator, the racks them selfs, etc. Etc. I can never get temps right where I want them. I'm always fluctuating I can never keep a consistant ow hot side 80 warm side.

Now my question is. I'm moving snake rooms from one up stairs bedroom to another, with in mind of keeping the current snake room and making it into a quarentine room. How should I go about setting it up before I move the snakes to the new racks? How long should I let everything heat up to stable out the temps? What fans should I get? I currently have a ceiling fan there. Is that enough to circulate temps? Should I just heat the room with the racks in it before I turn the racks on and slowly bring the racks up to temp? Will this get me better stable temps? Also what himidifires should I get to increase the humidity cause its a dry house. What should I have the oil radiator set to? It has its own thermostat so I should be good in the aspect.

Sorry for all the questions and concerns I have regarding this but I'm sick and tired of my animals getting sick. And I'm up on it constantly. I'm taking this year off from breeding to get this stabled and to start getting everyone even better set up. I'm getting the ars7030 and the ars 1075 for the hatchlings. Also should I go with two hides like it says too? What bedding y'all recommend I'm currently using paper towels. The tubs have built in cup holders so putting the second hide directly over the cool side is a little harder. I just want my animals happy and to have a sence finally that I'm actually a decent snake keeper for once.

Alright lay it on me. Thanks damen I appreciate it very much

Got lost in all the questions ill answer a few i know

Me i would heat the room to ur temp ur gonna keep it at when snakes are in it then heat up ur racks. I would let it go for maybe 4 hours to adjust and then put them in there. Thats just me.

I would say no hides if their in a rack

    Substate i use is this.

I LOVE it. Its absolutely amazing. You could get the non indented from walmart. But i like the texture of it and its only $35 for around 350 feet of it

My oil filled radiator heater sits at 78 deg. Because it allows my room to still be a comfortable for me and theres always a 2-4 deg diff in my tubs compared to my ambient air temp

As far as humidifier. You can go get a cheap one at walmart? I choose not to use one in my room because if ur using it to much i feel ur prone to grow mold due to the room being at such higher humidity. Maybe im crazy

ill give it a try.. im no pro but if it was me...... i would get all the tubs setup a couple days ahead of time. and get all the temps and hum correct in them ,at the same time working on the rooms temp..imo you shouldnt need a himidifire (sp) as the tubs should tank care of this .if set up properly.i also use a oil heater for my room .it only goes to 80 degs thats what its set at. and depending on room size if you need to run it on high or low. i also use a ceiling fan .well not that much .but ceiling fans are designed for summer and winter use. as we are going into winter run it backwards as to draw the warm air up alittle faster from the oil heater, and cerculate it ..my room is small i use on slow setting.i will also add that my hum in my room is around 30% but my tubs are always around 50-56% all the time
Hides .i always provide a hide atleast one. i recently got a few young pick ups .im useing one hide on the warm side and crumpled up news paper.for the cool side.. just remeber that when setting your thermostat that you might have to bump the temp up on the stat to get the pr0per temp in the tub/s.
the best advice i can give over this ramble is "TAKE YOUR TIME"

Hey I appreciate it. Its just can't keep fighting these temps to not stay stable on my ap 5 high I have my herpstat set to 96.4 and shot 84 dgrees on the warm side in the enclosure then turned it up to 98 on the thermostat and I'm still only up to 86 right now belly heat. I want at least 90 but I don't know what's up with it then in my 12 high I got an 8 degree difference and that's only 3 tubs lower and then the lowest tubs forget it. So that's why I really need to figure it out and get proper temps...what do y'all feel is "just right" for hatchlings, juvis and then adults? Thanks for ur help. Again sorry about all the questions.

I will be taking my time this time lol. Anywhoo yea my room is small too. What do you recommend for checking the humidity? I don't have anything right now to check it. My oil radiator will go up to 100 so right now its set to75 cause anything higher will raise the tubs cool end to 85 and then the snakes really don't have any thermal gradient. Maybe I'm having these issues due to the fact that snake tubs were set up and everything was all done and then I added the oil radiator heater? I just want to be able to get snakes quarentine them and throw em in with the main collection and not worry about temps ya know
