even the people I bought it from warned me that bloods are mean snakes, it makes me sad because Bloods are such great snakes in my opinion and so many people must be scared off of them because of these rumors.

They are more than rumors. If you work with bloods extensively, I feel pretty confident you will find some that are 'mean'.

My girl will try to rip your face off, no questions asked.. but she's not even a year old yet and I'm working with her to get used to some handling. So far she's tagged me probably about a dozen times.

That said.. they make great pets and MANY MANY will be fine to handle.
