Mine looks a bit like that too, but she seems fine. If this is a health issue I would love to know.

Re: Extra loose skin on my BP
Loose skin typically means dehydration or in pre-shed. Your snake to me looks very dry and even like it needs to shed and never did. Try soaking the snake in luke warm water. Make sure the water bowl is clean and easily accessible. Next meal try a wet F/T wean rat, or even dip the live rat in water before you offer him/her. The extra water will help hydrate the snake. It seems spiders can dehydrate easier because they are space cadets and don't find their water bowls, or tip them over before they ever can drink it.

Ok well then I think that mine might be the shed, her belly is turning a pretty good shade of pink. She has plenty of water in her enclosure so I don't think she's dehydrated. Thanks for the info!

Pink belly definite sign she will shed soon. Wrinkled skin can be seem on younger balls, especially new borns, but I recommend bumping up the humidity in both cases.

My Killer Bee just shed about 2 week ago, clean shed. I soaked him earlier and I'll soak him again tomorrow. Wet rat idea is good, I'll give it a shot. Not sure how he could get dehydrated, he's got a heavy ceramic bowl he can't tip, unless he can't find it

She is 6 months old so not sure if that still qualifies as a hatchling or a new born. Right now according to the analog hygrometer that I have her enclosure is around 45% humidity, but I screwed up and I think I put it too high. Going to get a digital one soon and put that at ground level so I get a better reading. And using Cypress as substrate. Thanks for the help!

How many times are you misting? If you're waiting to get a digital, I'd put the analog closest to the substrate so you can attempt to get a more accurate reading, but you'll probly still be off. If you're using a tank, misting (not heavy, moderate) twice a day should keep the humidity just right until you get a digital.

Right now I'm only misting if the humidity gets below 50% but once her eyes go opaque and I know for sure she is shedding I'll be bumping it up to 80%
