Bonuses to F/t in Water?
So I'm thinking.....I feed f/t, thawed in HOT water. I barely blot them before feeding, so that they get some extra hydration with their dinner. I keep records, and looking through last night, realized that all 4 of my Bp's poop once a week, ususally a couple of days after eating. Also, no one ever has a problem shed. They are kept in sterilite tubs, with flexwatt heating. One hide on the hot side, water bowl on the cool side. Hot side temps 92-93, cool side 80-82. Humidity? I have no idea. I don't measure it because there doesn't seem to be a problem. I live in NC, so we are pretty humid to start with. Just wondered if anyone else feeding f/t, thawed in hot water also had regular poops and great sheds.

I do as well, but people that feed live have the same success too. It's just good husbandry, right?

Probably...lol. I like that my guys and girls do well. And I do think the extra water with their food helps
