I'm trying to decide between getting a spider 66% het Carmel albino and a het clown female. Any thoughts?
Well...according to the list in your signature, you already have a spider and a pair of het caramels...so if you want caramel spiders, you can make them yourself over time. Not quickly...granted...but with a 66% het, you're gambling on time anyhow. If it doesn't prove out, you've lost years of breeding time.
Were I in your shoes, I'd go for the het clown for sure....and while she's growing up (assuming you get a young one) I'd be saving up my money to buy a visual male to go with her when she's old enough to breed.
One more thought I'd like to add....just a personal opinion. I would not go for a spider/caramel project. Each line is prone to genetic weaknesses and it seems like a bit of russian roulette to put the two together. Any spider or caramel projects I might attempt in the future will be to breed the two into stronger genetic lines...not weaker.
