Breeding Rats again....
I'm going to try this again, this time with good quality rats who are hand tamed. I got this boy from a member here. She has great rodents of many types and I absolutely love this boy. He is so sweet. He is a Havanah (spelling sucks) that is het for hairless.

The girl I got from work (Petsmart). I'm not sure on her color, so if someone could chime in on what she is.

The photo of the girl looks to me to be fawn which is a red eye dilute of agouti The boy's photo looks to be russian blue. I've had a havana before and the color looks more brown.

The flash washes him out a little. He does look more brown in real life. It is kind of dark in the room so I had to use flash.
I'll have to check the girl's eyes as I can't remember what color they are. In the picture they look black though. She could be a really dark beige.

Good looking breeders. I got my boy from Petsmart and my girls from Petco. I had to get rid of one because she got real wild and kept escaping, and had some bad genes, but my female BP didn't object to that.
I've already gotten two litters from the female who's doing good. First time was 6 and this time it was 8, and none of them have been stillborn, sick, or otherwise unhealthy.

I believe that just because your feeding rats doesn't mean they have to be ugly rats
