Red Axanthics are actually co-dom. Het Red Axanthic is a visual morph, and the red Axanthic is the super form.

Axanthics are recessive. Het is a normal with the gene, but otherwise normal. Axanthic itself is the visual, which is normal pattern, with no color.

Difference? Besides they're completely different things, Het reds and Red axanthics are busy patterned and have an overall reddish hue (even more on the super) and are sometimes black-backed.
Axanthics lack all color pigments (thought they brown as they get older) and if you like black and white and recessive morphs (axanthic spider is win) then it's the way to go.

They're hard to compare though, because again, one is recessive and one is co-dominant.

    x2 Pretty much....
Het Red and Reds starting getting more and more popular because of way how they influence other morphs. take for example Gargoyle with is het red x black pastel or cinnamon and us just awesome... same her red x pastel or her red x Yb... with regular Axanthics when You combine them to another morphs you basically get gray scale version of that morph.. Red influence pattern and color change in great way
