Super stripe questions

Hi all,

My knowledge is not as current as most and some snakes have passed me by. Now on the lookout and have a few questions:

A super stripe is a specter x yellow belly?
Is there such a thing as a Super specter? (specter x specter)
If you bred a super stripe to a normal, what would the babies be?
Are the genes on the same alelle and therefore you would get either specters or yellow bellies, or is it possible to also get a chance of super stripes when bred to a normal?

Sorry for so many questions - I just don't know where else to go for help.

If you bred a super stripe x normal you would get all specters and YB's. As far as the super specter, that info isn't known yet, as Mark Haas has tried, but missed and, understandably, doesn't really want to waste his specter or SS females with trying to do it again. However, he did state that he would be doing SS X Specter crosses this year and that he hopes to know for sure this season.

Yes, a superstripe is a yellow belly x specter (I've also seen them called whirlwinds). If you breed a super stripe to a normal, you get half yellow bellies and half specters, the do indeed seem to act on the same allele.

As far as a super specter goes, I have heard yes and no from different folks but have not seen any pictures or anything.
