Tub/Rack Questions
I have a two part question. My female is 1 year and a half old and my male is 4 months. They are currently both in tanks (10gal & 40 gal). I want another morph female to go with my male. I need to make the switch to a small rack and tubs. I'm thinking about this Animal Plastics rack http://www.apcages.com/Sterilite/1753EP.html Is a 32Q tub big enough for an adult female? I would imagine that the 15Q would work for the male. I'd like some flexibility to add more too.
Are these a decent deal? Is there another small rack that would better suit my needs? I'm also looking at this http://www.reptilebasics.com/iris-cb-70-rack.html This one has a 30.5 Q tub?
Thanks
Brian

AP is a great company. 32qt will work for smaller females, but in the long run if you get a large female the 3' long racks are much better IMO.

Re: Tub/Rack Questions
You might want to check out the boaphile racks as well.

32q can work for smaller females, but larger females should be kept 41q tubs.

The boaphile rack is nice, but a bit pricey at $399.

Re: Tub/Rack Questions
I recently came in to 18 various morph hatchlings a few days ago and am seriously hurting for space with all of these tanks. What do you guys think of this rack system?

I am probably going to be calling tomorrow to inquire about a few things (shipping time, heat tape, etc) and will be purchasing the 16 tub version if there are no concerns voiced here.
Thanks!

well if got building skills a screw gun, tape measure, and a either a table or cicrular saw can build a rack cheat. ( built an 8 shelf rack that holds 16 tubs ( up to 40 quarts )( 2 per shelf) I build mine so the lids are staying on to keep humidity up.. I love it ( wish I had painted the piecess first)
I thik I spent like 300 bucks on it ( without heat ) but I can hold 16 snakes easy Iplusi can use any tub with lid that up to about 7.5 inches tall. and 28 inches deep. I could prolly use larger tubs if i ihad gotten the thicker wood to use for shelves instead of 1/4 inch think.( thick wood would raise price) but for a simple single tub per shelf rack prolly can build it for 200 or less since would not 4 ft wide shelves.
I find my self built ones are great cause I can assemble in the room with out needing to strain to pick up large racks or worrying about breaking the plastic one any if I happen to dropp it or trip while carrying it. ( done it once)
Was married to 4theSNAKElady (still wish we were)
Ball pythons
