    Dropped my BP :(

So Lyoto my baby BP decided to pee inside his hide today so i figured i would clean it out and when i took him out he was ok no temper or anything then when i was finished cleaning i was putting him back in and he struck at me and i dropped him i feel like such an idiot, the drop was into his 20 gal tank and i pretty much already had him in it but could this still hurt him?

Aww, it happens. So I wouldn't beat yourself up about it. Just keep a level head next time if he try's to hit you. I'm not a vet, or herpetologist, but if it wasn't over a foot...I think your ball will be fine.

I've heard of them falling 5 foot or so onto a concrete floor and not suffering any injury's. Although...I wouldn't recommend it.

One time my boyfriend let his (drunk) friend hold Zeus and he dropped from almost six feet in the air. He was fine but Mike got chewed out pretty badly.

Yeah don't worry about it, he should be fine. Just make sure everything that goes in comes out as well, if any impaction occurs, you'll know why! I would just keep an extra eye on him and make sure everything is ok!

Agreed with all above, don't stress on it. When I first got my pastel girl I had a rather inconvenient setup, especially for a person in a wheelchair to deal with. I had to bend and maneuver in the most awkward of ways to get her out of her cage. I probably dropped her 3 times trying to figure out the best way. Thankfully it was never very far. although once she did crawl herself right off of my shoulder and on to the floor when she was small.

But they are resilient little kids and they can take it. She got scared but it never affected her long term, she is actually my most relaxed snake when I'm holding her nowadays. she hardly holds on at all!
