P90X Work out Series?
Soooo I just got this 12 disc series of the p90x work out from a friend, I have heard many good things about it. Has anyone else ever tried it, or heard of it? I've been researching all the diet plans and nutrition as well as the exercises. You get results in 30 days or less, depending on the person.
I am going to do the "before" and "after" pictures too, haha.

Re: P90X Work out Series?
I own the program but have not completed a full 90 days of it yet. I made it through 6 weeks of the program and then I came down sick, for about a week.
My issue was that I was not eating enough. I was doing the workouts as scheduled but I then added a 3 mile run/3 times per week. I was not taking in enough calories to support all of the work that I was doing.
On the plus side, I dropped about 40 lbs in that 6 weeks and my cardio was amazing at that point, it seemed like I had endless energy all the time. I believe that it is a great program.
I definitely have to get myself motivated to begin it again.
Hope this helps,
John

Hey there, well that's a good thing. I have heard nothing but great things about it, and on youtube I've checked out a lot of people who blogged their progress and it's pretty impressive.

Hey John, sorry to hear you got sick! That always messes everything up now doesn't it? Haha. But 40lbs in that amount of time is incredible! My goal is mainly to lose a bit but tone up a lot. I am 135lbs so I can't lose to much or i'd look weird considering I have a bigger bone structure. I can't wait to start it!
As for the eating, that is my main issue too. That's going to be the difficult part lol

If you do everything they ask of you, you will see amazing results. I'm too busy for the protocol, but my 15 year old has done it and he's gotten some big time results. He never was fat, but he has defined his muscle mass.
The first week will kill ya!
Good Luck!
