Is it normal for "normal" ball pythons to vary so much in color?

Sure is. Color pattern, temperament, you name it. They're a lot like us, in that respect. Pretty snakes you've got there.

Yes. Here are a few of my normals that show varying colors/contrasts: Very light girls: Very dark girls: Very blushed girls: As you can see - they cover the spectrum in color and pattern differences. All normals - all beautiful!
