all the signs are there but im still not sure
Ok so I got a possibly gravid female about 3 weeks ago & the guy I got her from I would know within the month if she is or not. I found a site that gave you descriptions of how they would act & also gave you pictures. She would stay wrapped around her water bowl for days & she went into shed about a week & a half ago & shed lastnight. While in shed she never moved from the warm side of her enclosure, actually she barely moved & since she shed she has been really active & stays on the cool side all the time.I got her out after she shed & I couldn't feel any eggs. Does it sound like she's gravid or is all this coincidence? If it is coincidence I'm gonna be really mad lol. Oh yeah I forgot to mention she also quit eating 2 weeks ago, but I know they will do this for no reason sometimes.

well if you took her poss gravid and moved her thats more likeley the reason she stopped eating.. the move...
also is the start of mating season which could explain the acctivity. so if you have a male of the right size chuck him in and turn that possibly into more likley.
good luck

Also gravid females dont move from the heat while eggs are developing. They need the warmth during this time. They will regulate body temps as they see fit but not very much.
If shes still on cool side a lot and wrapping the bowl then shes still in her pre ovy stages and still building.

I don't even know what palpate means lol. I'm still pretty green when it comes to breeding. She's ate since I've had her but the last 2 times I tried she just didn't seem interested so I fed the rat to my boa.

So if I don't feel marble sized lumps does that mean she is gravid? I forgot to ask in my last post.

Well since you acquired her and didn't witness breeding you have a 50/50 shot.
Dont want to say she is gravid cause you didnt feel anything. You will have to pay attention very closely. If she sheds mark 30 days give or take for eggs to be laid. In that time have a incubator up and running as a caution.
If after a month has passed after the shed and no eggs you have your answer.
