Ok, he kept down his "AM" slurry, and I gave him some tonight and took a few pictures.

Baby with a penny, he is tiny. Stuff all over the papertowels is missed slurry or what dripped off his chin.

He was actually just holding on to my finger, I'm not manhandling him or anything. I assume this is his heart? I don't see this on any of my other geckos, but my other geckos are correct bodyweight and at the moment at least 16 grams..

He says "no..no pictures.. i have soup on my face"

    AM update:
He kept is slurry down and i found a nice sized (albeit more liquidly) poop and some urates. Fed him again this morning and hes starting to look good. His tummy is a little more filled out and the wrinkly fringe of skin he had on both sides is almost gone.

    UPDATE:

He gained a GRAM! he now weighs 4 grams up from 3. Two feedings for today are through. He's getting even more of an attitude, he started gaping at me when I first picked him up to feed him. I'm taking that as a good sign since if he's got the extra energy to be angry at me.

    Re: Rescue baby

Update: Gave him a good warm soak last night, he drank a lot which i think is good, also ate a little bit. Didn't bother him this morning though. Will feed again when I get home from work.

One concern I do have is that he is almost constantly sitting with his head very very high, looking up. I'll take some pictures later.

    Re: Rescue baby

    Update:

I regret to inform you all that Fry passed away a little while ago. She was acting off for most of the day, more lethargic than usual. I'd given her some crested gecko diet after mixing up some for the cresteds and she ate a little last night. I hand fed her some water this morning and she drank. Just before getting in the shower this evening I went to check on her to see if there was anything she needed from me. I found her, lifeless under her paper towels right in the front of her bin, her little body still warm.

I took her out to the backyard and said a few words. This is where she'll sleep from now on. I wrote "<3 Fry 2010" on the brick for a marker.

Thank you, everyone, who talked to me or gave me advice about this little lizard. She was the light of my day for the 7 days I had to get to know her. I wish she would have lived but I don't think she was meant to make it, but this won't stop me from helping the animals I see in need. I'm sorry Fry, if only I had found you earlier I may have had a better chance at saving you.

I leave you guys with my favorite picture of the little food-face.

I have a video of her from 2 days ago during a soak, but I'm a little bit to worked up to edit and post it. I'm sorry everyone.

Sometimes, no matter how hard we try, they just don't make it. You did more than your best and I'm sure he appreciated that.
