    Ball Python Stuck

Hi, I have a 18-20" Ball Python, and she climbed inside a tubular decoration I put in her tank. I had not realized it had a hole in on the bottom (1.5-2" diameter). The decoration is approximately 30" long, and is a fake tree limb roughly shaped in an arch. She has been staying near the entrance she went in for the past week, peeking her head out occasionally. I have been unable to coax her out, any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks for your time,
    Daniel

Are you sure she is stuck and not just using it as a hide? Have you offered her a meal to see if she will come out to feed?

Try offering her food, because it's possible that she just doesn't want to come out.

I have a cork log in my tank, and my BP absolutely loves it. There is no way of getting him outta there unless he comes out on his own. It can be frustrating at times. But he always comes out when it is feeding day...sometimes just half his body comes out to eat... He comes out a couple times a day though completely.
As everyone has said lure it with a nice juicy rat.

I used to have a plastic log looking thimg and my bp would always go in there and never come out. So one day i seen her out of it, and i grabbed the log and took it out. Now i use a hide which you can pick up and there will be the snake. Makes it much easier!!

    Re: Ball Python Stuck

Thanks for all the advice, she came halfway out to eat Once she had the mouse down, she came the rest of the way out and I removed the log. She has a couple other places to hide in, I guess this one was just cozier.
