Hey guys I am working out a small humitity problem and need some advice...
I have a room that measures 28ft X 34ft and I have been setting it up for ball pythons. It currently houses around 75 ball bythons. I had a some humitity problems early on and went back to using the tops on the tubs and that worked out well. I have just built some new racks, and wanted to get away from using the tops. I have been about a month or so with out tops, and had low humitity as a result of the current rack set up. I would mist daily but couldnt get where I wanted to be. As a result I suffered 3 respertory infection ( all being treated as we speak) I have now added 3 large buckets of water in the room and a humitifier ( i used the heated one not the cool mist. I am not sure if thats a problem or not).My current room humitity is about 52-59 depending on heat out put. I keep my room at 80-82 degrees. My hot spot is about 90 - 94 depending on what shelf of the rack. I get to about 60 Humitiy in the larger tubs and the sub adults seem to get between 65- 80 humitity. Those temps and current humitiy numbers seem to be pretty solid but I am just wanting a second opinion or more lol. I will get some pics of the rack and tubs this eveing if I can to show you the set up.. Thanks in advance guys...
