update on Egg

so finally got to weigh Egg today knowing he was tiny to begin with he finally ate a pinkie mouse on his own after the first was started he has eaten every week only by being assisted well he ate three days ago so weighed him today get this born on 9/20/10 and today he's a mere 45 grams......he's healthy, active and very inquisitive....what do you guys think?

Egg!

How many times did you have to assist? If he's eating on his own, even intermittently, I think he's almost good to go. And 45 grams isn't a bad weight--I've brought home 1-month old full-size hatchlings at that weight, and I know the breeders were feeding them. I think sometimes they burn through their yolk weight pretty quick, and then they have to eat for a month or two to get back up to it.

no pic? , now that he has a taste for food, he'll put on weight in no time. My normal hatched 8/14 at 34g dropped to 29. assist fed a few, now eating like a champ every 3-4 days, is up to 103g

ok pics im waiting on batteries to charge and I've had to assist feed him 8 times I was so happy to hear the second pinkie squeak and see the bag shake you have no idea! lol he can be a real squirmier when it comes to having to assist this was the first time he did the second on his own yay I promise I will post pics as soon as batteries are charged

loonit he proved you wrong haha totally climbed the glass haha 6 days missing and my house is now able to be put back in order to include the vacuum cleaner and the BTS since he was having his roam time when Egg disappeared ( I was glaring at him since he seemed oh so content) but right after shed new pics and full story kk
