Ya know I do have a leash...clearly he hates it....but I do have one...lol
I think I have come to the conclusion that he just will never be a tamelable lizard...he is cranky...bratty and overall a terd. But I will keep trying with him....

Please be careful with this lizard, tail slaps really hurt when these guys get large. I also remember in an old Reptile mag where a woman had a gentle Iggy, but one day she was kissing on the thing (or something like that) and it took a chunk out of the bridge of her nose.
Yes I heard of that too. I can def. see where they can be quite dangerous...especially the males when its mating season. Even being small he has done a number on me a few times. The hubby is NOT too happy with him. My hands are constantly scratched up...he has gotten my face a few times and bit me in the nose once....thankfully no scar. They are quite the handful and I really think out of all my reptiles they are truly NOT tameable. But I am only about 3 months into it and I have to keep in my mind he was severly abused.
If all else fails and it gets too much for me....I have an idea for him. There is a great place up north of here called Out of Africa. It is a big cat preserve but they have a huge iguana enclosure and often taken in iguanas that are outta control or have been abused. They are super amazing ppl and I know he would be taken care of very very well. I hope NOT to have to do that but I also don't want to loose any body parts or put my son, mom or husband in danger. So I need to be realistic as to my cababilities.
