    Offer HOT pinks. I thaw my rodents, then get the toaster oven set at to hop around from 95F to 130F (mine isn't consistent). Put the pink on a tray with foil and check every 5 minute until it's HOT, hotter than a live mouse. For hopper mice, it takes about 30-45 minutes for items like hopper mice, pinky rats, and small rats to get hot for me.

    It's also how I brought my two BPs out of feed strike and back to eating f/t like before.
