just my two.. ive posted before but really shows some big color differences

Yay someone else posted a comparison shot
That girl is amazingly light!!! I agree, there is nothing normal about normals! I don't think any of mine look the same. Even the sisters I have don't look anything alike!
(I like comparison shots because the lighting doesn't really factor in, thank you!)

You know, I'd never thought of getting a picture of my normals together... good idea! I just took some comparison shots of my big girls, Mona & Nerissa, and the difference is startling.

Check out the difference in their heads... and Mona looks like she's saying "Get the heck outta my tub!"

She should look familiar to you, LOL. She's doing great, aside from the feeding stubbornness... went a whole NINE months with nothing, then I got some frozen ASFs to snap her out of it. She went on to eat regular rats for a while, but went back on fast about 3-4 weeks ago. Oy!

ASFs can be a miracle when a BP goes off feed. My Rayanne would eat a rat every 2-4 months as she wasted away. It was just enough that I didn't resort to force-feeding. Eventually I found she'll eat medium-sized dark-colored ASFs like candy, and she's bouncing back wonderfully.
How's Nerissa's weight (she was at 1970g in Oct 2009 if my records are correct), and have you dropped temps for the season? I'm wondering if she just started a normal winter fast. Some of mine are starting to fast for the winter, but I may be further north than you are.
My records indicate Narissa ate only rats here, so the ASFs probably blew her mind having only smelled them from a distance before, assuming an animal's native food tastes better than the foreign Norwegian rats we generally feed them.
