    Butter vs Lesser

    Whats the difference?

They both make clean BEL's and both look pretty much the same. A bunch of breeders I know will even say they're the same thing. So can someone please tell me what separates the two besides just looks? Cus theyre prices are sometime different.

Lesser Platinum’s are descendants of the original Platinum imported from Africa by Ralph Davis a while back. Butters look similar but come from a different African origin, I'm not sure who imported the orginal Butters.

I respectfully disagree. I believe they are exactly the same thing, just like pastels. There's been butter daddy made, they make the same combos, and I would bet if you mixed clutches of butters and lessers together, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

well i have a butter, and alas, no lesser.

but i have seen alot of lessers to butters... id have to say very similar, but different.

butters are, well more buttery. what should be black, is really caramely colored and their blushings are REALLY high. and lessers are just a little darker and less blushings..

but yeah buteer x lesser offspring, i bet even the pro's of the trade have trouble telling them apart.

These are pretty darn buttery - but they're lessers.
