Smells
What do you guys do to keep smells down? I've been thinking of keeping charcoal in a stocking in a BP's cage to see how it works.

Other than cleaning out any soiled aspen ASAP, nothing really, but then again, the snakes have their own room so to speak so a little odor is no big concern to me.

Nothing, my herp room has very little smell, and what smell I have is mostly dirt-earthy smell from the planted terrariums.

Clean cages shouldn't really smell. Check the cage to see what part is causing the stink. Maybe there's a wet spot going sour? A missing clump of poo?
Snakes do have a odor unique to them, but you shouldn't really notice it outside of sticking your face to the cage, unless the cage is soiled somehow.

It doesn't stink up room. I do keep it clean. The only time I can smell anything is when I open the plexiglas door.
