Hey now, I'm 24 yrs old, 240 lbs and work out everyday and my lil buddy is a 5 lb toy Chinese crested dog.(exotic breed that are popular in the dog shows) and if my snake tried to or did kill it the snake would have the same fate... paid $1000 for the dog plus a surgery... I would do anything for my dog(and my snakes though!!!!) paid 50 for my bp...

I'll Prolly be hated for saying this, but good thing I don't post alot

I do want to stress the point that I take extremely good care of my snakes, just saying that my dogs come 1st...

And yes only the tv portrays bp as dangerous killers bc the tv is full of idiots... hence "idiot box"

In all honesty, if you had a BP that killed your 5lb toy dog, it would be your own fault. A BP wouldn't naturally attempt to kill something like that unless A)the snake for some reason felt it was it's only survival option and B) you let your snake roam around the house unwatched with the dog out.

In which case I guess that would make you an accomplice and deserving of the same punishment?

Big ball pythons only WEIGH 10 to 15 pounds. They cannot eat something that weighs as much as they do!

    Re: Eating weird things

Well the cat would be sad but my lil doggies I would be devastated. My snakes are all in racks except my new big girl whos quarantined in a tank. I just fear if they escaped I may have an issue on my hands. I didnt really think they are dangerous just wanted to know if anyone has actually had this happen. Maybe not even eating just killing,
