Some googling and research has lead me to believe that it was actually a Mexican black, and I was wondering what kind of experience people here had with them. We have a mexican black, and he's been a really easy snake to care for. He's only about a year old, but he's always had flawless sheds, and eats like a champ. He's no different care-wise then any other ol' kingsnake.

Though, last feed, he was convinced that my husband's finger was a mouse, and he would not let go. Poor lil thing tried like heck to kill/eat his finger. He didn't even draw blood!
