How Much can one outlet take ????????

Currently I have my CB-70 Rack and my Rack from JWexotics both in one surge protector and that is plugged into a (im guessing Normal) 120v outlet. I'm thinking about plugging in my 28qt tub which will have a thermostat that needs plugging in for a Blood python I'm thinking about buying. Can this outlet handle all this juice or no ????? Thanks

depnds on the outlet in houses, some are rated for 15 amp, some are rated for 20. assuming you got 15 amp, 15ax120v= 1800 watt then your not spossed to load anything past 80% so 1800 x .8 = 1440 watts.

outlets arn't normally the problem, its people overloading circuits.
