Need more input-- sand boa prey size (pics)

I'm putting in a huge order to Rodent Pro this week, and I am undecided as to what to order for my rough scaled sand boa. He is about a year old and has previously been on fuzzy mice. I have 3 fuzzy mice remaining in my freezer. However, Rodent Pro only sells fuzzies in bags of 100, and my sand boa is the only one of my snakes that is not on med/large rats, so I obviously do not want to buy 100 fuzzies, just for him.

Any thoughts? After having another 3 fuzzies in him, will he be big enough to handle rat pups and / or weanling mice?

My boa (pics taken today, he's on empty and is due for another meal)

He's plenty big enough for pink or pup rats. I breed kenyans, have kept rough scales, and from as soon as they can take day old rat pinks, that's what they are fed.
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?

Personally I would stick with the mice. But the rats you need locally before buying a larger order for him to find out he wont take rats.

wean-small adult mice should be plenty for him. Offer rats if you want but do it before ordering a order, unless you have other snakes that will eat that size.

My sand boas of that size eat pinkie-fuzzy rats. I do agree to try a local rat before ordering rats, although I didn't have any problems switching my sand boas.
