Dimmers only work well in a room that keeps a fairly stable temperature.
If the room temperature goes up or down 8 degrees so does the heat pad.
Wiring flexwatt is super easy and comes with very simple set of instructions, even someone with no wiring skills such as myself figured it out
This just plugs into the t-stat...
(clips should be covered in at least electrical tape if not the clip covers they sell)
You can use a zoo-med under tank heater if you already have one, but if you are buying you can have the clips and 4 pieces or more of 11x12 flexwatt delivered for the cost of one new heat pad by zoo-med.
