Hey all.
My mom is an elementary school teacher, and she asked me to bring in a few reptiles for her students as a reward for completing their state testing.
I dont have an amazing collection, but I am going to bring in a few animals who have a good record around here:
Spotted python
Chacoan tegu
Leucistic rat snakes and baby ball pythons etc.

I was just wondering what kind of things I should say to spread the good word of conservation. I can give information about the animals, but i'm not sure how to phrase things for kids to understand, and I really would like to give them information about the ecological importance of snakes, and also dispel the myths. Is it too much to hope for the kids to learn more than "snakes eat mice."?

haha it may be a silly question but I just don't have experience lecturing to children!

Thanks
Sam
