Sent the person 2100.00 and to this day haven't even so much as gotten a return email.
It's hard for a jaded old guy like me to understand how someone could fall for this but it's very sad that anyone loses $2100 hard earned dollars to somebody like that.

Greed. You know it's too good to be true, but you want it to be soooooo badly you go with what you know can't be right because you'll, not you Dale, save so much and get such a great deal instead of using 2 brain cells and realizing that this just doesn't happen.

    Ever.

Agreed, even if I am not that old though

Not long ago a woman in GA made the news for falling for a scam not once but twice.

She was contacted and told she won the lottery somewhere (not recalling where) and she needed to send money so the prize could be processed and money be sent to her.

When she did not receive the money she contacted the person, he apologized and said he would need one more payment from her to finalize everything and the worse is that she went for it.

    Scammed not once but twice.

Scammers count on people's greed and desperation and in some cases apparently it works, from lottery scams, to online fantasy boyfriend having problem abroad & needing money to expensive animals/goods for a fraction of the cost etc

Bottom line if it's too good to be true it usually is!

    Re: is this a scam?

I messed around with one of those lottery scammers for a week or so until he/she got really ticked at me and told me to quit playing games..lol. Told him that I was homeless with seven kids and living in Lost Springs, Wyoming (has a population of 1).

This is the email he sent me..I edited the four letter word he used at the end.

    scam

This has been around for a while. . . these guys are in cameroon. DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY!!! They do not own these animals, nor will they send you animals. I had ran into these guys last year, and when I asked them to send me a picture of the snakes with today's newspaper, they just kept dodging me. Then they told me they were out of cameroon. Good luck on your search for real ball pythons from real breeders. I am very glad you checked here before you went ahead with paying them anything.
