Dwarf Burm
I would like to get my husband a dwarf burm for Christmas. He held one recently and fell in love with it and won't stop talking about how bad he wants one. We have the proper housing for it when it's fully grown. We literally have 85 gallon, 180 gallon, and 55 gallon aquariums hanging around with nothing in them. We jump on them whenever they are free at rummage sales, or on the curb. Our rescue ball python actually came to us in the 180!
Anyway, I am looking for a breeder. Who would you recommend? Is there anyone to stay away from? I've been reading the BOI, too.
Thanks in advance!!
ANDREA
1.1 Normal Ball Pythons - Charlie and Lucy
1.1 Red Tail Boa - Arcadia and Hades
0.1 Blood Python - Allison
1.0 Diamond x Jungle Carpet Python - Diomedes
3.0 Cats - Rhett, Diesel and Nabisco
1.0 Gerbil - Moo
1.0 Field Mouse - Waddles
RIP Rainie Girl. I'll see you at the Rainbow Bridge.

Alohareptiles is going to be breeding them this year, he's a member on this forum.
Justin McBrayer should have a few left.
I'll push American, before I'll drive foreign.
Don't argue with an idiot, they'll drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

what do dwarf burms go for price wise?

It's ironic that a 'dwarf burm' is in the 'giant pythons' section.

Justin only has half dwarfs. (Last I remember)
Dwarf burm breeders are few and far between. There are half dwarf breeders going for the albinos etc tho.
Great men are not born, they are defined by their actions.

Re: Dwarf Burm
The only breeder in the US who has them each year is Bob Clark, i think they are $375+ but im not too sure.
Aquariums are nice but they arent the best setup for a Dwarf Burm, Dwarfs are a very shy & nervous species who stress easily. The best setups for Males & Females would be a 3x2 Tub for an Adult Dwarf Male & a Adult Dwarf Female will thrive in a 4x2x1 (LxWxH) Vivarium closed in with one door. So if you decide to get a Female i suggest you invest in a BoaPhile.
Anything younger then an Adult will be happy living in a rack system or tub.

Bob does CB Dwarf Burms and probably has some clutches in the bator as I type...I think they are more than the price you quoted, but I can be wrong but I know I paid more for mine from him last year (but his pricing does tend to vary)...His are really good temperamented for a Dwarf...Mine wasn't a chainsaw at all and was downright beautiful...

It's going to be more of a crap shoot on if they will or will not be a chainsaw...Seriously, like I said in a previous post...I'd look at the Half Dwarf Burms...You won't regret it, like you might with the pure Dwarf...IMHO
