Switching from tank to tub
I picked up a Sterelite tub today. Its 50 quarts, about 7 inches high and its got wheels on the bottom so its lifted off the ground about half inch. My BP is in shed atm, should i wait till shes done to switch? Will she be stressed from the move from her old tank? I will be using the same hides, substrate etc. This will be my first time with a tub so any info is apperciated!

a 50 Qt is big for an adult ball python. at 133g that is way to big most people keep there adults is 32 or 41 Qt tubs. for one that size you really only want a 12 Qt tub maybe a 28 Qt

Should i return it for a smaller one or is there any other way i can use this one? I like how its off the ground with the wheels and its nice and low profile. The one she is in now is 18x18x24 tall.

Re: Switching from tank to tub
I have my 580+ gram in a 41 qt tub. Gives him plenty of room to stretch out so to speak. Had him in a 40 gallon breeder tank and love the switch to tubs.

Re: Switching from tank to tub
As long as you have hides and possibly a few plastic plants/balled up newspaper/etc to occupy more space I don't see a problem with it.

I keep hatchlings in 6 qt until 400 grams, 15 quarts until 1000 grams, and then they go into 28/32 quarts. Anything over 2000 grams goes into CB-70's.
I wouldn't put that small of a hatchling into a 50 qtart even if you cluttered it up. Just get the $2 6 quart Sterilite and that'll do for a good few months at least.
