    How close do you need it?!? Not asking for suggestions on my photo skills, need suggestions on the reduced pattern. Is it common?

    Funny how there is no agreement on which is the pattern; the lighter or darker elements. I would call that wide pattern and the opposite of reduced.

    At any rate, my chocolate mojave is similar.



    Without knowing anything about the non mojave parent I would first suspect egg stress also. But try the same pair next year and resolve whatever went wrong and see if you get the same results.
