Does this look like a spider yb to you?
Some guy is selling this female bp for $350. I'm actually just looking for a female yb but I love spiders so a spider yb is cool. She is 10 months old, 14 inches (dunno weight). But, from what I've read the yb gene on spiders look different than the regular yb. I'm looking at this picture and I don't see the yb marking. Do you see it? Would you buy it?

Thanks for your help!

BP owner since Oct 2008, so yeah, I'm no expert.
0.1.0 pastel bp
1.0.0 spider bp
0.1.0 albino bp
1.0.0 bumblebee bp
1.0.0 yellowbelly bp
0.0.1 normal bp
1.0.0 normal western hognose
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

A 10 month old female spider YB for just $350? Sounds shady to me

I agree, sounds shady. Most spiders will have some yellow-ish tint at the bottom of their sides, doesn't mean they are yellowbellys. Good looking spider though!
1.3 lovely normals 1.1 Piebald 0.1 red tail boa (Pandora) 1.0 sinaloan milk snake and one nasty corn snake! 2.3.1 Cresties 0.0.1 chahoua 0.0.1 leachianus
1.1 Ferrets (Snoball & Panda)

It is a spider? Yes, Spider YB? HIGHLY doubt, is it a female? Who knows YOU will need to sex the animal, $350 for a 10 month old female spider YB as claimed? Sorry but that's not gonna happen.
Now I can also tell you that BP hatch about about 10+ inches so 14 inches for a 10 months old
Also will the person stand by their animal like a breeder would? That is a huge consideration as well when buying an animal rather than trying to find the cheapest deal around

sounds like a scam or straight up b/s..
baby spider fems are around 200 right now.. so a nearly yearling fem. maybe the 350. but a fem. y/b spider..
def not going to find one for 350.. not a real one..
and that photo does not show anything out of the norm for a spider..
my guess is that it is a spider, with yellow on the belly.. so they are calling it a yellow bellied spider.. but not a "yellowbelly"..

Agreed, sounds shady to me to. You can't tell if she's a spider yellowbelly by that picture. Spider yellowbellys still have the yellowbelly markings running along both sides of the belly, they are just a bit more difficult to notice. I'm guessing she was from a spiderXyellowbelly breeding and that person just assumes that it has both genes.
