I was told its not okay to have the glass that hot because BP's can and will burrow. I rather not risk it. But i believe there are these repti mat things that are like insulation for glass tanks that prevent digging. Id pick one up.

What i do is i have a CHE and a UTH. My UTH isnt attached to glass, its sitting on the table, under the tank.
