Hey, I just read through your thread and I saw where you were not sure how much sugar should be added to the water.
I have never dealt with a snake prolapsing but I have with a gecko (hemipene prolapse). The sugar solution should be nearly syrup consistency and just make sure to keep the area moist so it doesn't die and become necrotic. As long as the flesh is still looking healthy (not turning strange colors or black, etc) it may not need surgery and may go back in on its own (I am not a vet and haven't seen the injury so take that with a grain of salt..)
