I use the cornsnake registry actually.

The breeder doesn't pay to register babies, the person buying the baby does. The breeder just registers his breeders. It lets you see both ancestors of your snake, and progeny.

Here is a link to one of my snakes, you can see three generations of her ancestors, plus a couple of her kids. It's a pretty cool thing.
