What are some stupid things people have said you about snakes?

I love it when someone sees me with my snake and they yell out "omg is that a snake"? I keep trying to think of some snappy come back but haven't been able to. Let's see, it's shaped like a snake, it has scales, um......... I wanna say something like, no it's a garden hose/a really big necklace but I just become speechless.
