What are some stupid things people have said you about snakes?

All these posts about what our moms think are cracking me up. I got my first bp with my mom 19 years ago. When she died almost two years ago, I took him. But reading this also made me think of this silly dream my boyfriend had about how he accidently let all my snakes out. He was chasing them down the road and he remembered being very upset and thinking "Oh no! Courtney's gonna kill me!" hehehe Just wanted to share.

The lamest thing I've had said to me personally though would be "Don't they bite you?" and "Aren't you scared of them?"

I've heard most weird things from my dad. It'll strangle you, Where are you going to keep it when it's 20 feet long, It's slimy and gross, etc. Oh, and my favorite - Aren't you affraid it'll eat all your dogs??? ....I have 6 large dogs - 4 German Shepherds and 2 others and they all range around 60-75 lbs. That would be one big ball python....
