haha always a fun time getting your hand mistaken as food. Happens to the best of us lol. I personally don't think its scent. Well partly yes, but I think once they "know" their getting fed any kind of heat that crosses their path is getting jumped. I notice all my snakes get pretty rowdy when they know its coming, and if I put my hand in there I'm getting bit even if I smell like soap lol
