    New incubator idea and question.

So this is a work in progress so bear with me.

First off this is the Wine fridge I got

Next the thermostat (getting next week) is going in the back right corner. Drilling a hole that leads to a hole where there was a light in the fridge that I took out. so im going to feed the probe trhough that. I may even cut out a spot for the thermostat to fit flush with the top of the black plastic. So its flat all across.

This plate covers holes in the back so Im going to use it to make it look neat inside to cover the wires.

Here is the hole all the flexwatt wires are going to go through.

The nub in the top left corner is where the power cable will come out of the thermostat, the hole that is just under it will be where the flexwatt power will come out of.

well thats my idea let me know what you think! I cant wait.

Oh and quick question should I use 3" or 10" flexwatt? and how much of each its about 4' tall 3' wide.

    thanks!

Looks good so far!! I would use 11" flexwatt and 3-4 feet would do it imo

Agreed. 3'-4' of 11" flexwatt should be fine. The first incubator I built was very similar to that except it didn't have the nice window! I would also consider adding a fan or two for circulation.

Looks great so far! Post pictures when you're finished!

The phone chargers are all nice and dandy but can only handle 1 fan per plug. Ive noticed when wiring mroe than one fan to a single plug they will slow down and heat up.

I now currently use a $30 computer power supply jumped with a paper clip and i then plug the computer fans into that. No cutting needed just plug in and thats it. You can also buy LEDs for computers to hook up in the Incubator as well on switches when looking in.
